Ministry for Information Society and Telecommunications organized a meeting today with the Administrators of Montenegrin municipalities, where basic guidelines and actions towards implementation of the Law on e-government were presented.
In the introductory part of the meeting, Director General of the Directorate for e-government, Stevan Ljumović, addressed the attendees, noting that the goal of the meeting is to remind the representatives of the local government of their legal obligations and creating the basis for the future cooperation concerning e-government portal service.
For instance, the Law on e-government binds all state bodies and local government units to provide their electronic services via e-government portal too. Ministry for Information Society and Telecommunications aims to provide all the citizens with the possibilty to fulfill their obligations and their rights in one place – e-government portal.
In order to acquaint the Administrators with the possibilities of the e-government portal, the examples of electronic services were presented at the meeting.
